11110111011 11/29/21 10:13:01 AM #2:	It isn't terribly expensive. Type something like Jameco kit into amazon - they sell PCB kits with the components for $5-10 a pop. Grab a couple, put them together and see if they work. Personally, I use a couple hundred dollar soldering iron - but a nice one could be had for less. Avoid the soldering guns, IMO and get one that has adjustable temperature. Soldering surface-mount components is a little trickier - I would start with through-hole components first!
