I think it's more that you don't care to donate because it's not about the whole thing being a good cause. It's about hurting others. Because that's what you like to do.

It's about manipulating the controversy and false outrage into charity. Which he is doing masterfully. So, have you donated yet? Or do you really not care enough to spend your money on it?

Chappelle made a surprise visit to his alma mater the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC on Tuesday to speak with students before Thanksgiving, Insider reported. Chappelle came onstage and asked any students who were offended by him to raise their hands and approach the stage to voice their grievances.

According to Insider, a student who attended the event remarked that Chappelle was reluctant to engage with the students' concerns and continually told the audience that they "can't silence" him.

So he randomly came to the school, they automatically gave him a stage and a giant captive audience, and he then asked students to come up and criticize him. And when they did, after he asked them to, he got annoyed and accused them of trying to silence him. From his stage, where everyone was forced to listen to him.

See, what is up with comedians demanding that everyone be entertained by them? Nowadays they throw bitchfits when people don't find them funny and do stuff like this.

I think most comedians care more about being able to make jokes about taboo subjects then whether people actually find them funny. If you can't make a controversial joke, what good is free speech?

I doubt most career comics like Chappelle, Burr or Louis CK give a shit if you think they are funny.
