Since I was gone for a month I wasn't able to check in on him, went by for a haircut and they had a memorial for him on the chair he always used.

He was just about my age range (28).

I always longed for a consistent barber that I liked. Haircuts were always very stressful for me because I didn't know what to do with my hair.

Once I finally found someone I liked and made me look okay, I only had three or four sessions until my hair was thinning to the point that I just started shaving it.

Although it was a little awkward because she was an absolute smoke show Italian chick who talked very freely about sex.

last 'barber' i had was like a decade ago. went to get my hair cut only to find the little place closed down. turned out he had shot his wife in the face and was going to jail for 20 years to life.

When i was a kid, my barber was the same barber my grandpa had in the 50s. We called him shaky sam. Dude was always smoking while cutting hair. He had a big wooden framed TV that didnt work, with a smaller TV that sat on top of it always playing cowboy shows or football.

Always gave me candy after a fresh cut.

Learn to cut your own hair. I've been cutting mine since I was 15. People be like, "How do you get it so even in the back"? I'm like, "Mirrors".

Had something similar happen, didn't go for a haircut in a long time due to covid and all, we call the shop one day and they tell us he died to cancer... shit sucks
