That's 80% of the districts in a state that voted for former President Donald Trump with 53% of the vote in 2020.
In 2018 the voters of Ohio approved an amendment that says leaders could not draw a map that "unduly favors or disfavors a political party or its incumbents."
Hopefully they can take that map before the State Supreme Court and get it thrown out.

Dogshit state. Living in one of the three (relatively important) cities doesnt change the fact that the state is ruined by the idiots who live 10 seconds outside of them.

It's gonna get tossed on its ass by the courts.

At least that's what I'm gonna tell myself to make myself feel better.

Districts should be drawn by unfeeling robots, as algorithmically boring as possible.

Who gets to program the robots and who gets to decide what formula they use?

Lock Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders in a room until they finally agree how to do it.

But really, "here's where a person is, and here's where another person is, and so on and so on." Just make vaguely rectangular shapes with as close to the same number of people as possible. Or, better yet, stripes.

What's weird is that even if they drew the district lines in a way that makes some kind of sense, it'd still lean republican. The vast amount of rural areas guarantees it. Instead they went full out on rigging the system.

Republicans have spent the last 5 years saying the quiet part out loud.

Not really surprised theyre this bold.

Also I think its funny that Ohio voters voted that gerrymandering is bad. Thanks voters. Would have never guessed that.
