The impending civil war is definitely not good. Gun rights are good. Seeing more and more guns on the street is bad. It is entirely the right's fault that we are once again becoming uncivilized animals, but it's still unquestionably awful.

Sure. It's not great. But it's not uncivilized to want to defend yourself from people who want to murder their political enemies, which is where the right is. The sooner people on the left realize this, the better off they will be.

My girlfriend is a pretty strong-willed left-leaning voter, and she owns a couple of guns. I don't think the notion is that "no one on the left has guns," it's more that "too many left-leaning politicians have no education or common sense when it comes to issues dealing with guns."

They reveal their lack of knowledge when they use words like "military style rifle" or "take a double barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house; I promise you, you don't need an AR-15"

It's the voting pattern of Democrat politicians, not necessarily the actual behavior of left-leaning voters, that's the real issue.

Does no one remember what happened to that one guy on Austin? Carried an AK47 around during a BLM protest, and when a guy was trying to get out of the protest in his car, people began mobbing him(including the guy with the AK47), so the dude with the AK got shot and killed?

This whole thing has happened. Bringing guns to a peaceful protest isn't peaceful lol.

I fully support gun rights, but yes, we absolutely live in an uncivilized shithole of a society if we feel the need to open carry them.

If someone can sleep with their gun, I don't celebrate them having a government that allows them a right to protection. I wonder why the country is such a fucking failure that the people feel like they are living in a warzone.

When there is an enemy who wishes to harm you, you have to defend yourself or potentially forfeit your life.

If you're able to live as a pacifist, it's likely because a non-pacifist is there to discourage those who would harm you. That's just being real.

There is a clear difference between bringing guns to a peaceful protest on the protesting side, and bringing guns to 'allegedly' support people during riots, though.

They aren't the same, even if both are allowed. One is 'preventative' but also incredibly against your message.

What happened to better safe than sorry? When ita a brown guy in a beard a lot of people immediately will say well he might be a terrorist better safe than sorry.with all the the mass shootings in America, if someone saw that and decided to act because they thought they might do something bad, theyre in the wrong? Doing this just leaves too many questions in the air that anyone can act on. Theyre not cops or in uniform. Theyre just random people walking down the street with AKs. If someone walked into a space I was in like that I might be afraid and act. And if I do that because I dont know their intentions Im the wrong guy?
