Pretty fast to hang up on people today in the office.

The call was made by a coworker
The question was asked
The question was answered
Ok stop talking. Like, that's it.

Or sometimes it was:
The call was made by a coworker
The question was asked
I have to check that they understand what they're asking
They conference me with the other person
They'll never learn the answer

And then there's a lot of circling
The call was made by a client
The issue was brought up
I explain I'll be looking into it (it involves other departments, not mine)
They circle back to the issue
I explain I'll be looking into it (it involves other departments)
They circle ba shut the fuck up let me start looking into it or you'll never get help.

Why do people like to talk for nothing? This isn't some interesting tangent like lunch plans or news.
