That Pokemon info is used hundreds of times per game or more. Before taking a school test, you probably used the knowledge required a handful of times. Guess which situation makes information more likely to stick in your memory.

I did tend to do well on tests. Though in some classes I had no preexisting knowledge and not paying any attention in class nor doing any studying caused me to do very badly. But Id also do really badly with Gen 8 Pokmon.

There's like 18 types, and no, I can't remember every weakness and strength they have. I'd probably get something like 70% on a quiz, maybe?

I could often guess a Pokemon's type from looking at it, but anything from Gen 3 onwards I don't outright know for most of them.

i think i know maybe 10 pokemon that i know their "types". no clue what weaknesses are aside from generic Vidjagaem shit like Water beats Fire, etc.
