the main attraction is whatever among those appeals to the person you're asking. there isn't an objective right answer since this is really a question of opinion but I think if you asked all the metroid fans you'd get a good mixture of any of those in response.

Really? I don't think so. I've asked this question before in a different fashion and most people will come to conclude that the exploration is the core and most important factor of the game.

If the main attraction is dying so many times on one of the first enemies that you give up and uninstall the game then they nailed it with Metroid Dread.
