He claims that he thought his life was over in the heat of the moment and didn't think clearly, so he confessed to things that wasn't his fault, which is probably reasonable since he admitted to things that don't have evidence either.

To me that doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense that ZeRo took back his confession, and it doesn't make sense that Nairo took his confession back. You are right that, in Nairo's case, there's no evidence saying that Nairo attacked Zach. To me, it seems like they are both guilty, and they both admitted to their guilt, but now they're using poor reasons to justify why they are taking back their confessions.

nairo was also sexually assaulted. i think people are willing to give him some benefit of the doubt for acting irrationally

I mean it IS innocent until proven guilty, so I find it a bit excessive to think as you do about this. Also we do have evidence of Zero sending the text, then Zero admitting that it's the truth and not some forgery. That's way different from Nairo's case where there is no proof of what Zach claimed, and most neutral parties are not testifying to Zach's favor.

When did Nairo say he was sexually assaulted? You mean his second statement after his original confession? That's my point, why are people automatically taking his story legitimately? He lost out trust after the first confession, just like ZeRo did.

A lot of it has to do with a bunch of contradictions/lies coming from Captain Zack and Samsora IIRC. I don't remember the details, but Captain Zack in particular lost a lot of credibility as additional information came out.

There isn't any public evidence against Nairo either though, all of Zack's closest friends even corroborated Nairo's story. I think if Nairo does want to attend Smash events again though, he should make his evidence public, or at least share it with the event organizers. However he has 0 interest in ever going to anything again.

I don't think a single prominent smasher has said anything in support of ZeRo or Technicals video, and he is still banned from every Smash event. Not sure what else you want from the "Smash community"?

my take: technicals did a good job debunking the first accusation from jisu, for the most part. it's the accusations from katie that he was unable to find anything to debunk, because it's accurate and speaks for itself.
