You have a massive world to explore in an Indiana Jones-esque steampunk globetrotting adventure with airships and ancient cities. In terms of JRPGS personally I'd go with Mother 3, Suikoden ii, and Panzer Dragoon Saga though my memory is a bit hazy and I need to replay Suikoden ii and PDS. --- All politicians are scum. That's going off memory I'd probably be bored out of my mind now. Earthbound has an unparalleled sense of adventure imo. I'd also say that the larger variety of bright and creative settings is another major factor.
