I appreciate it. But I definitely have comprehension problems. Mixed with low effort for this type of stuff. If I care enough, I'll reread whatever like 5 times while responding to make sure Im covering every angle as well as I can. If I gave into how bad my initial comprehension is, Id be fucked lol.

I'm saved by the self awareness and having zero pride in having to correct myself if I miss the mark initially.

There's treatment for that. I recently got diagnosed for ADD and medication has helped.

I really don't think it would. Infact it would improve our relationship because it would give me insight into his personal life and things he enjoys.

It does. But I also am of the mind no one is perfect and it's not the worst thing ever. Definitely sucks when I wonder off and can't get back on track when watching movies or something with other people. Then I gotta kind of just sit there putting all my effort into trying to understand what's going on and it kills being able to really take the movie in. I just got a ping pong table and the instructions to put it together might as well just be squibbles and a different language.

Ive found how to more so just play into my strengths, so it doesn't come with much social anxiety or anything. I don't really care if I do stuff that makes people think I might be stupid. My jokes kind of obscure the line between when I'm dumb as a bit or I'm really just not there with everyone lol. As shown with how you didn't know if I was intentionally being difficult or not >_>.

Im really susceptible to addiction with ADHD medication. I burnt that bridge and wouldn't trust myself with a full script. Once I'm on them, all my self control to not take more goes out the window. Regardless of what my initial intention was. Im fine with that. It's just how it is and Im glad I'm not an addict that would do anything to get to the high.

Btw, you actually caring to know what's going on with someone instead of just write them off is a really good personality trait.

there are non stimulants as well that a psychiatrist can prescribe. They should have lower chances of addiction.

Sorry about all this. Adderall changed my life for the better. It's made me more motivated and helped me focus and organize better. I'm sure there is something out for you there.

I'd be embarrassed and I'd move on. The "consequences" are whatever some individual (the boss) arbitrarily decides is acceptable or not. I'm just saying if I'm in that boss' shoes, the entire conversation would go, "yo looks like you had fun but just don't do it again, at least not on camera in public. btw we ordering lunch today? Im feeling tacos" And if I'm the coworker, I'd go, "yo that was crazy, hope u don't get in trouble. howd it taste? haha"

The funny thing is, I'm not shy about bringing this up. They just never offer me anything. I might downplay it a little when talking because that's my personality. But whenever I get one those surveys, I pick all the options saying it's a problem. I definitely would be interested in a non addictive one. Cause I can now downplay my history with those. Trashy/bad behavior in public does have consequences in the real world dude, especially with social media recording nowadays. And if that was your buddy, corporate isn't going to want him to stick around, regardless of your personal opinion. And it would make you look bad as a manager if your tried to defend him.

You gotta be honest about these things and not downplay them. The Dr is basing their diagnosis and your current state based on what you are telling them. If you downplay it, they will as well and might not give you treatment for it, or incorrect treatment.

And isn't the band's non-reaction kind of suspect? Like if I saw my bandmate pissing on someone, I'd at least be a little alarmed. They saw it and kept playing, didn't miss a beat.
