The first two games Im getting is BoTW, Super Mario Odyssey, and Im contemplating Luigi Mansion 3 as my 3rd game, but I cant decide on that or something else. Besides that I would recommend MH Rise and Stories. I also literally just got the ding for SMT finishing downloading... so Im obviously interested in that, but have no idea how good it is. --- ........the ghost in the machine... Astral Chain - platinum game with interesting combat system and an exclusive. Cadence of Hyrule: rhythm rogue lite from crypt of the necro dancer devs. Very cool, unique take on Zelda. Fire Emblem: Three Houses: SRPG with waifu elements (or is it a waifu game with SRPG mechanics?). Hyrule Warriors games: if you know you like Warriors, these are good ones. Mario + Rabbids: very fun, casual/lite version of xcom mechanics. Usually very cheap (going for like $15 bucks a lot), with an excellent DLC. Big recommended from jabodie thanks to the price point and quality. Mario Party Superstars: this is one of the good Mario Party games. Recommended if you have friends/ family to play with on the couch. Metroid Dread: the grand return of 2D Metroid. There's plenty of discussion about this game out there. Monster Hunter Rise: game has a PC version out or on the way though, so that might be a better option if you're a PC gamer. New Pokemon Snap: it's Pokemon Snap but new, with a decent amount of content I think if you want to do many of the tasks. Pokemon games: they're Pokemon games. The let's go games are a nice casual take (and I personally hope we get a gen 2 let's go), and of course there's Sw/Sh. Splatoon 2: very fun game, mostly hampered by Nintendo's dumb ass online policies. Salmon Run is a surprisingly fun mode, and the competitive multiplayer is a great experience imo. Pretty casual in a way, but quite fun with different weapons and maps. Super Smash Bros Ultimate: I think you'll know if this game will get play time from you or not. It's the first smash I played with no items and shit, lots of characters and a great time if you have people to play with. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Fun JRPG with cool environments. Might need some tolerance to "weeb shit" (or maybe a lot), but I enjoyed this game immensely due to its combat system in the later parts of the game. Very slow start too.
