Off the strip, on the west side of town, theres tons of great food, tons of things to do. People are nice. The city has a nice vibe to it. Summerlin and red rock was alot of fun. Tivoli village was nice. And it wasn't bad at all going to the strip. The traffic moves along nicely. I always found that I was able to get in and out fairly easily. Mr Charleston is great for hiking. You can potential do Zion in a day trip, I have friends that have done that. Leave at 6 am, get there 9am, hike all day, eat, leave at 9pm, home by midnight. North of summerlin parkway is ghetto, but there are some cheap nice neighborhoods too.
