Of course it probably helps that they design them for Xbox One but seriously I've never had an issue with performance from Gears 4 onwards. They all run and look like a dream. In the same race I can barely keep up at all if I'm driving a bad car but dominate if I tune it or drive a different one. If you want to make things go to the tuning menu and browse custom tunes. Pick basically anything that ends with 00 (which means it has the highest stats for its class). The race will probably be easy then. S2 is the hardest class to play since everything there is super fast so maybe stick with A or B if you find things difficult. Also I keep rewind. Makes things more fun for me personally.
