Let's be real: If Mike were any other person, you'd still be calling him a piece of shit because "rape is unforgivable" and reasons like that. People only give him a pass because they like and admire him.

I gotta admit that's true, Tyson has gotten like 2, 3, 4 chances and we gave it to him because he one of the greatest of all time and part of it is we see that has done good changes in his life too.

Two things always will bother me about the Tyson case though.

* Desiree Washington removed a maxipad and undressed in the bathroom before getting into bed with Tyson. The bathroom had a phone in it but no calls were made from it that night.
* Lead defense attorney Vince Fuller never tried a rape case before taking that case - and probably none afterward, his defense was that bad. He was universally panned by legal experts. He is a tax attorney hired by Don King because he brilliantly got King out of federal tax evasion charges.

Yeah the whole defense was a shit show iirc.
