LNSS 11/01/21 12:17:27 PM #1:	Played it for the first time a couple years ago, because people kept saying its awesome. However, the main characters' rivalry comes to nothing interesting, the pacing is awful, and the story and worldbuiling is all over the place. saspa 11/01/21 12:22:57 PM #4:	I was extremely disappointed with the terrible characters and meh story. 360 owners who raved about this game for a decade knowing that most people wouldn't have played it were definitely overblowing its appeal. But it's just the characters and story that are disappointing/terrible. Gameplay wise it's probably the most improved out of the team symphonia games, and the cel shading is naturally quite gorgeous. I replayed the Definitive Edition and while it was still good, I wouldn't call it a great game. Battle system was fun but the story wasn't good and I hated it when they'd go on and on with these fantasy technical terms that they never explained or didn't make sense. <cite>Itachi157 posted [p:959590831] in Tales of V...
