...sure its completely uninteresting from a gameplay perspective but it breaks up the pacing. Like wtf kind of a defense is that? It's good to add boring parts for the sake of pacing? Also if the core gameplay is good why do need these traversal segments to break it up? When I'm playing oldschool Doom I dont think to myself damn I wish there was boring platforming segments to break up from shooting Demons and shit.

My biggest issue with the Uncharted games has always been the fact that they made roll and cover the same button. It's objectively trash and it's gotten me killed more than anything else in those games.

Weirdly I played 1-3 and the only Uncharted I really liked was the 1st which most people online call boring.

Seemed like the later two games just throw these guys covered in armor head to toe at you constantly and there's no point in aiming/headshots. The 1st had some skill involved.

I've always suggested that pressing cirlce once should take cover and double-tapping it does the roll.

I'm not gonna tell you what you should or shouldn't enjoy I just think lengthy traversal segments where the path is you need to traverse is obvious and theres no effort to get through it are kinda bad and deserving of criticism.

Are you joking? Lol most of the enemies dont have armor and will die with 3 body shots or 1 head shot. The few enemies that do have head to toe armor can be killed with headshots or with grenades.

For the original trilogy of rank them 3> 1> 2. Everyone loves 2 the most but for some reason its always been my least favorite game in the series to play

I'm not saying it needed to be Hollow Knight like platforming, but I think they really could've done more to make it interesting, like theres multiple directions they could've with it rather than just hey heres the path and almost nothing you do will get you killed. Hanging and climbing up a wrecked train hanging off a cliff is a lot less intense when you know you almost cant die. I know that's the first part of that game but it rarely gets more interesting or challenging than that.

I dont enjoy the shooting either. The platforming not good either. Again it's the most bare bones platforming ever. Theres almost no danger of dying or figuring out where to go. It's mostly tediously climbing and jumping around. How is it fun? And the puzzles are pathetic and serve only to waste your time. The stories arent interesting either. Hell theres not really anything good about these games outside set piece spectacle.
