Just avoid political talk. I have group of friends that I train/drink/shoot with who are maga bros and they know I'm not. We don't talk politics.

Gun stores are the most chill shops, it's mostly people bs'ing about guns. Outside of it relating to guns, I've never heard any political debates there. Mostly people mind their business.

Maybe it's just cause I'm in Chicago but no one ever bothered me or brought up politics. Everyone just kinda keeps to themselves and their group they came in with. Even the blatantly right-wing looking ones, with Trump hats and Blue Line t-shirts. No one really bothers anyone. Hell one complimented my Jordans once and that's the most I've ever talked.
