ApherosyLove 10/20/21 3:25:56 AM #1:	I'm not much of a computer person but I'll try to make this thorough. About an hour or so ago I realized I couldn't create any new folders on my PC! Clicking on "Create New Folder" does not do anything, and right clicking does not show any Folder option in the Create New context menu. Neither does CTRL+SHIFT+N. So I looked up a bunch of fixes and did so, so many. I'll try and list everything I did so far here: Turn it off and turn it on again. Did a full PC scan for any viruses and whatever. Restart Windows Explorer in the Processes tab of Task Manager. Make sure my permissions were allowed full control in the security tab of SDD and HDD. Ran the System File Checker through command prompt. Reset File Explorer through SYSDM.CPL in Run. Used the Registry Editor to change the ContextMenuHandlers. Used Windows Defender to turn off Controlled Folder Access. Did a clean boot with basically everything turned off. I even did a system restore to last week, where I definitely made a fuck ton of folders! I really, really don't want to reinstall Windows because I just did it like 3ish weeks ago when I got my new SSD. I haven't even really downloaded anything that wasn't off Steam in the last week so I don't know why it's suddenly happening today. Maybe sleeping and crying was a good idea because now clicking new folder, thought does not produce a new folder, brings up this menu. https://i.imgur.com/ZaY9LCN.png So, idk, maybe the computer thinks folders and shortcuts are the same. Can it do that? Machete 10/20/21 1:33:04 PM #11:	I had a weird thing happen the other night where in some menus I would get constantly scrolled to the top, like as if the up arrow key or page up or home was stuck (start menu, networks menu etc) but in text documents and in browser, this wouldn't happen. It wasn't the mouse, it wasn't my keyboard, it wasn't my controller or the touchpad. Normal restart fixed it, whatever it was. --- I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything. Or malware but that's unlikely.
