The way I see it is Skynet has all the tech you have, or close to it. And usually much more and better.

At least with the Xenomorphs you could theoretically go into orbit to escape and then nuke (or neutron bomb) them.

... unless the [spoilaliens]queen hitches a ride in your 1 ship's landing gear (and lays eggs in there whoopsy doodle) Yeah sure that happens once, not every time.

The only way I could see beating skynet is to start a secondary skynet. (then they betray you and join up lol)

I would though

Skynet is not going to give a painful drawn out death, terminators kill fast and get the job done.

Xenomorph death is painful as shit as evident in all the chest bursters, back bursters, etc, being killed by the grown xeno is not any better.

Id rather take my chances with Skynet.

Sums it up for me. Like, being killed by a bear or a tiger. The tiger will put you down fast, the bear will start eating you alive.

I feel the Xenomorphs would be easier to coexist with tbh

Best case scenario for either side you're hiding out in a bunker struggling to survive.

Worst case for Skynet you are forced to work in a death camp loading other people into extermination chambers and clearing out the bodies.

Worst case scenario for Xenomorphs you are strapped to a wall and forced to have an alien burst through your chest.

Seems like it's pretty fucked either way.

There's a series of Aliens comics where the Xenomorphs do take over Earth. But they get a ton of assistance from human cults that are telepathically influenced to worship the Xenomorphs.

Certainly death by Terminator is easier to stomach than the whole Xenomorph process though.

I mean in every Terminator movie Skynet loses. Thats kinda the crux of those movies.

In contrast in every Alien movie 80% of people die and those are the best case scenarios.

The thing is, Skynet is fairly unbeatable and relentless.

Xeno's are obviously more terrifying but like you could adapt to living at sea for example, or perhaps in other hard to reach areas.
