C/D: Game graphics from the PS3/360 era have aged fairly well.

C. It's to the point, at least as a PC gamer, that if I max out the graphics settings that I don't really draw much of a distinction between PS3/360 era and PS4/Xbone era games.

I feel like graphics updates aren't big enough for me to get hyped about graphics anymore. I think the last time I was impressed was with the PS3/360 generation. but I believe they have indeed aged well.

can't say the same about the generation before it lol.

but it made me appreciate and long for the 2D era of performers though.

Theyve aged well. Most games from that era still feel modern. I played DMC and Street Fighter IV on my 360 recently and they dont feel aged at all.

The jumps in graphics are definitely smaller and smaller with each generation. I can't really tell the difference anymore if something is PS4/Xone and whatever the newest consoles are.

PS3/360-Current Gen feels like one smooth continuum rather than a series of jumps.

Rogue Squadron on GameCube still looks pretty good. The troopers on the ground are bad, but the environment and the ships look great

I remember thinking this when the dark souls remake was released for PS5. They showed comparisons from the remade version on PS5 to the original on PS3.

Dont get me wrong, clearly there was a major improvement over the PS3 version. But, looking at the original version it still looked pretty good for its age.
