It makes sense considering how they decided to draw out the Midgar sequence to comprise the whole game. No point in making a PC you can only use for like 2-3 hours when you could instead come up with something for him in the sequel.

I guess? But there's a lot of new stuff, and a lot of sidequests, which I did all of them. I'm currently at like 38 hours

Just beat it. Overall I really liked it. But it meandered a bit too much. I hope theres only 2, 3 episodes max. If the next part only goes up to Nibleheim or something Im just not going to bother.

Also wow didnt even realize Heidegger was John DiMaggio.

i super enjoyed the remake, yeah, but it did meander a while. the whole everything in sector 6 went on for too long

then the tunnel to wall market was just...excessive

I dont think they are gonna release more. Like I know what theyve said but Im not believing that anything is real until I see it.

same, if they had planned to release episode 2 even a year or two after episode 1, we would have already seen some type footage.

I dont think weve seen anything so far and I dont expect anything to ever come out

How big is the Yuffie DLC? They made that and Intergrade pretty quick.

I have not played it yet, I'm going back and 100% the base game in Hard mode before doing the DLC. Also it took about 5 years to make part 1, and part 2 has been in full development for at least 2 years now.

But yeah I've done 19/20 Battle Reports, I've done everything in the Colosseum, everyone is level 50, I've completed the first 3 chapters in Hard mode, I've mastered every weapon skill, I've maxed out most Materia, and at least 3 of every spell except for Raise. I am NOT looking forward to getting all the dresses for that achievement, that is going to be stupid annoying playing through those chapters like 3 times, even though Wall Market is my favorite part of the game. But I do need to go do the new Simulator battles and the final VR battle.

Also Nomura's goal is to develop each Episode of FF7R as quickly as possible, which, most of the legwork has been done since the engine is finished. FF16 is likely to release in less than a year, Yoshi is wrapping up production on Endwalker, which is out in a month, then he's finishing development on 16, which he recently said is almost done. Then I could see FF7R2 being the big SE title the following year, then whatever XIV 7.0 will be the year after.

8/18 chapters complete in Hard mode. It takes a while since I'm also going for manuals and different story outcomes. I'll do Chapter 9 tomorrow, hopefully I can get 3 new dresses. I know I'm getting a different dress for Tifa, I'll have to look up a guide for Aerith and Cloud.
