Thats where I was. LOL. Thought itd take a few months, not literally the first time we tried. She scheduled a gynecologist appointment for Monday (wow that was fast).

Congrats. My wife had a positive test end of August, a declared ectopic pregnancy a week later, then two weeks later had emergency surgery due to a ruptured fallopian tube where she lost two liters of blood.

Hopefully yours is not nearly as terrible as my last month has been.

Her bloodwork put her around 5 - 7 weeks so we did the ultrasound and there was no embryo in the uterus. There was a mass in the tube and they took more blood which confirmed her HCG levels weren't going up properly, indicating a failed pregnancy. This was all the Friday before labor day. They sent us to the hospital to get a methotrexate shot or something which was supposed to stop the embryo from growing and get reabsorbed back into the body.

The numbers were going down then all of a sudden she's taken by ambulance to the hospital and five hours later in surgery. Scariest shit of my life. They removed the tube so she's down to one but she's okay thankfully. So long as you're on top of it you shouldn't have issues. It's a rare occurrence as it is so don't let my negativity worry you

That's mega fucked up. You shouldn't be having kids unless both parties are completely on board. I've seen that kids who are raised without a father are better off than those with fathers who didn't want kids. My wife's dad didn't want kids and it truly fucked her up well into adulthood. Either get on board now or get out.
