That was fine before full FDA approval but by now you've got hundreds of millions of people that got vaccinated and like 0.00001% of them had any issues outside of like a day of fatigue and a sore arm.

If you're that concerned about that level of risk I would advise never leaving your home ever again.

i think they're going to get the coronavirus

i think they're helping the virus mutate into new variants that will hurt the immunocompromised and elderly

i think the laws that punish people who shout fire in a movie theatre should be applied to those that make false public statements about the vaccines

i think nothing more than this about them

Dont have an issue with it. But we've had enough people get the vaccine without a significant number of mutants popping up, so they should be good with getting the shot by now.

One of my friends is like this and it bothers me. Like, I got the vaccine, and they want to see what happens to me before they take it?

It was fine early last year, but now you either have your head in the ground not to see the evidence of the vaccine being good, or you are clearly antivax without any evidence being able to change your mind.

"But what about 10 years from now?! That's how vaccines work, right?"

And I guess all newly approved drugs should sit on the market for a decade with no one but brave Guinea pigs taking them too. Since they think that's how this works

I was initially concerned at the beginning being as unless you have a time machine you can test all you want and not determine long-term effects. By the time I was eligible for the vaccine I was comfortable with what I was hearing and got the shot right away.

I honestly get it even though I think getting the vaccine is very important. It's hard to trust an institution that has fucked you over and over again. I also think the government has done a piss poor job at addressing people's fear about it and educating them on how the vaccine works. It's mostly just been shaming people to take it.

The data is out there. You either accept it or you're wrong. Facts don't care about their feelings.

When the vaccine first started being available (for at risk groups) in like Feb, I was hesitant and wanted to see what would happen. I took a look at the data, and promptly got vaccinated in April (which was also the earliest I could have). Anyone who is hesitant is an idiot. The irony is that the same people talking about THEIR freedoms are messing with everyone else's.

They are anti vaxxers and we shouldn't call them anything else. Just because they want to call themselves something that "sounds better" doesn't mean we have to accept it.

The information is out there and all but the shunned scientists stripped of medical licenses agree with vaccines. You either get them and support them or you are an anti vaxxer, no inbetweens.

And no, people who can't get them aren't included and anyone claiming otherwise knows that.

Unless someone brings it up, I don't think of them at all.

But since you brought it up, assuming they're just hesitant about the COVID vaccines, I get the idea of being skeptical about new things. Fine. But so many people are getting the vaccine without significant side effects that it is foolish to persistently, deliberately avoid getting it.
