I wasn't as concerned with Nagoshi leaving because I think he was mainly serving an executive role but Sato was more involved. Though it looks like even he stepped back from Y7 and Lost Judgment so there's still plenty of hope for the series.

For as "weird" as it is, I feel like they already proved Yakuza is a series you where can pass the torch and very much keep the spirit it alive.

Which in retrospect might have been what they stuck around this long to see.

Yeah this isn't very worrying in terms of series impact IMO.
