Were they any good?

The first one was. Then they dropped the demographic by about 10 years and gave everyone plot armor, turned it edgy, explores more progressive themes, and started treating the superpowers more like X-Men - with a variety of elemental abilities & other abilities..... So, it wasnt like the origInal game where you play as Statham Electro.,,, -__-

Two is where all the problems start.

The first one I got for free off that big PSN issue and it had my favorite plot I guess, but the 2nd easily beats it(and Second Son) in terms of the sidequests. I just hated that Cole had a melee weapon now and that the bad karma lightning was more orange than before when it looked much nicer in 1 imo. Oh and the side girls in 2 were both crap.

Second Son I enjoyed too, but it was a step back and I was a little disappointed that the 4 powers weren't all that different. They even skimped on the last power not having its own ult or whatever. First Light(which I also got free) was pretty fun for what it was.

The first one was good, but the climbing mechanic was terrible for a game so focused on freerunning. It was like climbing a mountain in Skyrim, where you'd just mash the jump button and hope you landed on some sort of texture to be able to jump again.

1 and 2 were alright. I wasn't a huge fan of the movement and aiming.

Great games. I also liked how different the powers got when you went good or evil. Like, if you went down the evil path you got cluster bombs that blew up enemies and civilians while the good path gave you more directed attacks, focusing on restraining instead of killing.

It was neat.
