Not too familiar with the setup, but I usually set it as "glorious smashers" (dunno what I means, but I like the sound of it) and the stages can be selected by the users in the arena.

I had it set so itd play your favorite map with simon the other day. I guess thatd be better than this because itd offer twice the variety lol

Its fine, really. Im just doing other stuff now. I basically do the same thing you mentioned. There is a ruleset you select and mine is pretty much tourney rules. However, you can opt to leave stage selection on or off for the lobby. It shouldnt affect anything.

Man, just realized how long it has been since I tried to play this online in any real sense. Last time was with Ruckus and I played so horribly. I think Im just over the online shit. Played okay tonight but its just so awful to have like a minimum of 10 frames delay. I should honestly just not do it anymore. *shrug*

I don't mind playing online here since the connections here are decent. Still for me nothing beats playing friendlies in person, now that's pretty fun.

I don't think the format matters for stage selection. For stages, I feel like it's inside of additional options or something.

Yeah I just checked. When making a lobby, press Y for "more settings" and it has stage selection in there.

I figured it out earlier! Thank goodness haha

Zelda is a weird character in that I find it easy to beat other zoners (the anti-zoner zoner if you will), but I struggle against rushdowns (Fox and Little Mac in particular >_>)

All good haha, I usually do the same. When I was playing with hannibal last night when he said last game, I started taking a half shot after every match afterwards. That was the wrong drinking game to play

Oh it's awful. Especially playing Isabelle who is really reliant on short hops/fast fall.
I'm used to playing docked, so I'm gonna call quits for now before I get too frustrated lol.

You should come play on Friday/Saturday nights! I usually do lobbies late at night and they're a blast.

Ah man yeah, that sucks. Well, depending on your time zone it might help.

I usually open em like 11pm or even midnight EST, and depending on who's around, we go real late lol. (Like, sometimes even as late as 3am)

Then I realized it must have been the connection, because I unplugged / plugged back in and it was fine. Thank god, it's one of the white controllers. Not as rare as ant's mario GC controller but I love the white one.
