Here, you can state a case for why your post didn't violate the rules. It's seen by a different moderator than the one who originally deleted it, and if they agree that it isn't a violation or are confused or need clarification, it's sent to the original moderator to respond to and either uphold or overturn. If it's upheld, move on to stage 2. 2) Appeal to Lead. At this stage, you could state your case to a lead moderator. The lead leaves a response. If they agree that it isn't a violation, they can overturn directly. If they disagree, they can uphold it. If you fail an appeal to lead, your appeal to lead privileges are taken away for 30 days. If the lead upholds the moderation, move on to stage 3. 3) Appeal to Admin. You make your case directly to an admin, usually Allen. Like before, the admin can leave a response and overturn or uphold. If an appeal to admin is upheld, your dispute privileges are taken away for 90 days. With the new system, there's only one level. You state your case, and then there's a 24 hour period for the entire moderator team to vote whether they agree it's a violation or not. If a majority of them agree with the moderation, it's upheld.
