and it's kinda funny tbh

like, we both spent the same amount of time in japan as kids, yet his dumb ass somehow didn't pick the accent up (and he's the younger one, too, by two years; should've been easier for him)

anyway, what makes it funny is that he's the one who ended up getting really into anime/manga, specifically japanese video games, etc. (i.e. a literal otaku), yet he has some super eeeeew, gross-ass gaijin accent that he's admitted to me he's p self-conscious of and embarrassed over having

it'd mean so much to him to be able to do the proper accent
