He jobbed in that fight so someone else could win. He, Bakugo, Shoto, Iida, and Uraraka are the only relevant class members. It feels like the creator created a checklist of everything people expect to see in a shonen series and just followed the checklist to a terrible. The tournament stuff and tests are boring, all the characters except for maybe Bakugo are dull and the story feels like it lost all momentum a long time ago. I stopped reading it some time lasr year because it moves at a snails pace.
