I dont trust it to be 100% operational at launch nah we hate blizzard now, so servers will be okay with just the 8 people who are going to play. But I would be shocked if they can't match the demand. The remake is still held back by the obnoxious purist who bitch and moan about every change and it's not a game for everyone. I don't see it bringing in many new people that would have started with say Path of exile, because it's still missing a lot of quality of life that PoE has...and PoE is missing a lot of quality of life on it's own. I wqs huge fan of it back in the day but quality of life in newer games has me completely disinterested in it because of purist shit. I tried the Grim Dawn D2 mod and fun with it for 3 days because of cross-classing and some added things. I don't want to deal with no skill bar, I don't want to deal with the way the economy worked in it, I want to deal with farming specific 1 in a billion drops, and even if they updated all of those things, shitty stash space is a full on deal breaker and I don't know how I ever tolerated that in the original game. I hope they update everything and tell the purists to fuck off. --- I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything. It's really a shame that they shit the bed so badly with wc3r that they're afraid to rock the boat any here. D2 was a great game 20 years ago and i have a lot of great memories for it...but there's a reason why i've only played like 5-10 hours over the last decade and change.
