Now we're more curious how he ended up switching from winner to joining them. But I liked the foil it had with Alice in Borderland where they voted to go back to their lives only to realize what the old man said was true, that real life was torture if you're that much in debt and you're just waiting to die. So they voluntarily go back to the game ~~The older lady annoyed me pretty much 90% of the time. But good on her for suplexing the gangster. It's pretty much an Isekai even though they're technically in Japan still. Squid Game is more grounded and kind of has a pretty good moral/lessons.
