Ive only played the first one but it was fantastic enough that I wanted to replay it immediately after finishing it.. almost never happens

Cant even imagine what II is like compared to the first considering all the praise it got

I'd say make a custom character. You can pick up party members that have planned backstories throughout, so you won't miss a whole lot.

Undead is the best, by the way.

It's a tool to be used, so use it. In the first one, the wife and I used rain all the time. Made a lot of parts super easy.

Love that game. Played it twice back to back. First play through was a blood knight type class, second was a basic rogue

I chose Lohse and am being a knight. Pretty fun so far, just taking my time. I took an established character because I saw a lot of people online saying it makes the story better, I changed up her look though.

Step 1: leave default setting on

Step 2: pick two of the same type damage dealers (physical or magical)

Step 3: Spec into Lone Wolf

Step 4: watch as you blow up everyone

I put a decent amount of hours into the first one but it never quite hit the mark for me, Im hoping this one with its better rating will get me to that magical place.

Yeah not gonna lie, the combat kicked my ass sometimes in the first game. I havent faced a major battle yet in this one, well see how it goes >_>

Ooh whats a blood knight? That sounds fun.

Im gonna guess a Necromancer and Warrior combination. Using Corpse Explosion for huge nuking, and just hitting shit with auto attacks when thats on CD.

Edit: theres a move that increases physical damage the lower hp is and also a move that prevents you from dieing for 1-2 turns, so yeah, combine for mass wreckage.

I played for an hour or 2 but was taking my sweet time so Im not sure how far Im into the game. I remember meeting a bunch (all?) of the other pre-made characters at some tavern or something, but they all rejected me lol

im on ps4 so not much better. at least the load times arent too bad. ive put in close to 20 hours and just hit act 2. for sure take your time and dont rush it.

Yeah classic.

Hardcore isnt much different other than a few bosses being a lot more annoying af.

Gotcha.

I got rekt in my 1st damn real fight lol. I have the skeleton guy on my team now and I thought we had a chance, but alas. So then I respawned near what looked like a city and I had no idea where I was so I turned the game off.
