Low carb bread and low carb cereal and protein bars. Increasing protein but lowering carbs, particularly sugar. Not keto diet. I'm thinking of subbing rice occasionally with cauliflower rice.

it's expensive but it's pretty good with maintaining blood sugar.

Costco keto bread is great and not really expensive for bread.

For cereal, I've tried wonderworks cereal, Kashi (keto friendly) and also Catalina Crunch Cereal (Costco). I can say which one is the best in price value.

Can't do cauliflower rice, tastes horrible. I do low carb stuff tho, the Costco bread is carbonaut right? I use it too.

Depends

If you're looking for a quick way to lose weight fast, then a low carb/keto diet works.

If you're looking for a permanent diet chance, I don't recommend it.

yeah I have had it twice before. microwaving in the same day was good.

leaving it for a day after receiving a take out order was awful. willing to try it again.

is it though really? Yes, the type of carbs do matter. Too many of our carbs are processed and spike your blood sugar real good. By limiting the amount of carbs--and trading it for more xplex carbs with fiber, fat and protein, your blood sugar will be more stable and shouldn't spike. Portion size is everything too of course.

For people with blood sugar issues and as well as trying to lose weight, low carb helps.

I eat carbs, but I avoid sugar. The pounds just melted off when I backed off from sugar.

No I just eat less. People doing low carb are usually still reducing caloric intake, which is the only thing that matters if youre not going into ketosis, which is almost certainly very bad for you long term.

your body needs carbs and fats to survive. There is no biological free lunch. Remember that college teacher who ate nothing but Twinkies and lost 30lbs?

I used to try it for weight loss but never had any significant or sustained success. High carb ended up working for me and I've lost 150lbs in about 4 years without gaining anything back.

Do you have a blood sugar disorder? Otherwise, eliminating all carbs is really unnecessary, provided that you exercise regularly.
