I didn't think this was normal. I personally am not scared of a little dirt and have put peanuts and stuff in my pocket while camping. I wouldn't offer them to anyone tho, I think that's weird. No one wants to eat food straight out someone else's pocket with their dirty hands digging in there.

I actually worked with someone that did this. I literally saw him pull a piece of ham out of his pocket and start eating it before. He told me "stoners have no shame."
