..in NZ, "police are investigating someone who fled Auckland" (context: Auckland is currently in lockdown, the rest of NZ is not, travel from Auckland to anywhere else is extremely restricted) is basically a headline that comes up multiple times a day over the last couple of weeks.

Between that and the signs of lockdown fatigue, I don't think we're getting back to covid zero here again... at least we've majorly picked up pace with vaccination now though.
