Im expecting to get a promotion that is going to require urine screening for drugs. I have a prescription for marijuana but am in a state where it doesnt matter. I will have to pass the test even though I can legally use it.

I have been reading up on it a little and feel better about it than I did a week ago but am still a little worried. Anyone know anything about this process of detoxing?

I was using about 10mg 3-5 times a week at night in edibles for a few months but then cut down to about once a week the last month or two. I havent used at all in the last two weeks. I weigh about 185lbs and am in decent shape. The test may not be until the end of October or early November. From what I read, regular users should expect to have positive results for up to 90 days after stopping usage.

Think Ill be fine if I just stop using until then or should I be drinking tons of water and running or even get a detox program?

I tried the $1 tests at the dollar tree and came up negative but I realize that is essentially useless compared to the sensitivity of a lab. Any good tests to take at home?

Any other tips or things I should do?

Depends on your metabolism and how strong the test is. As you said it may not be entirely out of your system before 90 days. It may be out now, cant say for sure. Just dont use anymore and start drinking cranberry juice daily and lots of water.

You should be fine. If you want to be sure drink a bunch of water and take a couple multivitamins, so it isn't diluted. Be sure pee before you go in, that way there will only be whatever has been filtered since.

Thanks all. Sounds like Ill just stick to the plan of being clean and get a better test a week or so out to see if I have to do anything special.
