Current Events > Tales of Arise kind of died on me after chapter 3. (mild spoilers)

Haven't played it in a couple of days since finishing that. I dunno why. I think it's partially that after the same pattern repeats for the third time you kind of go "oh, I see. That's what we're doing."

But also the chapter throws 2 new characters to learn at you in rapid succession, while they were otherwise nicely doled out. I'm still trying to get Kisara down and now Dollarhyde has joined the battle. I can't deal with that. Plus the game also throws like 3 or 4 optional bosses at you at that same time and on the one hand I wanna progress, but I also wanna do the fights before I become overleveled and I am frozen by indecisiveness.

It's a big ass boar with red glowy tusks I think. I fought him last night. He was easy to dodge tbh

That golem side quest fight was a beast though

Tc just stock up on consumables and you can attrition through it

Yes, same boar. Demo is slightly different than the full game though.

I dunno, my playstyle is just going ham with Alphen. Keeping my party alive was much easier with the golem. I think the only one he ever killed was punchy guy.

You're not suppose to win but I'm not sure if you're suppose to lose either. Haven't seen anyone get party wiped by him yet.

No, like the way things play out. The demo limits the areas you can visit. Arriving at Viscint plays out differently in the full game. The boar boss is from a side quest you get later on in the story.
