I've been down with everything, the shark cards, milking GTA Online, multiple GTA 5s, whatever.

But when they started suing modders, that's when I decided I would never buy a Rockstar product released after this ever again. I only wish others felt the same/

That makes no sense. You supported the real issue in not getting the sequel, but now you want to judge others that didn't support microtransactions and want to buy a sequel? Get off your high horse.

People who bought the game supported a sequel. People who bought shark cards supported prolonging a sequel.

My comment your responding to has nothing to do with GTA 6. I don't even care about or want GTA 6 in the first place. My comment was about them suing modders. And when Isay "I wish others felt the same." I'm referring to being upset about the modding situation, not liking GTA 5 or anything like that. I don't care about that.

Idk what its like now but ppl used to play gta 5 online through modded ps3's with access to cheats. There were services that offered hundreds of millions of gta 5 currency for only $20.

I actually paid $20 for 300 million gta v online currency back in 2015. I didnt get caught till 2017 but only because i started abusing some glitches in free play so got reported by a bunch of players. All my cash got deleted but rockstar let me keep everything i bought (like all my super cars). My friends still have their cash afaik because they kept it on the down low

They're just taking the hardest possible stance on modding as they can.

Bethesda has similar situations, some open source engines and conversions of older games to newer engines. Projects that Bethesda could try to go after in a similar way.

But instead, they intentionally divert their legal teams from taking action against most of these projects, because they're only helping them and creating good will. And taking them down would just create negativity.

Rockstar and Take two want to starve the market of good content. Or like this new engine, they dont want gamers to have a great old version of the game, that means gamers might not be interested in a newer version they're gonna release. That's how these companies do. Hold back good ideas for as long as they possibly can. So that once people finally stop buying the shit after years and years of accepting shit, THEN Rockstar will release the good content.

These companies COULD just produce a good consistent stream of quality content, make money, and keep us happy. But that's not how it works. Why make something new and good when people are still buying the same old shit? From their perpective, it's just bad business. Well fuck them/.
