I know this is a morbid topic, but do most people think about this?
I'd get around $275 for the house and over $200k in life insurance. They made it clear where all the paperwork is just in case. I also left them everything in my will so it balances out. Well sort of. --- This is where cool people write stuff. ... Copied to Clipboard!

[LFAQs-redacted-quote] You should know about it if they have assets. I've heard stories about people who died without a will. All their money and assets were divided up among living family members. ALL of them. Like even distant cousins got something who they probably haven't seen for decades. People have to clarify this sort of thing officially before they die. No matter how old they are. Probably nothing other than my sister and i i heriting the house. And then she'd probably live in it with her bf.
Id hold onto the ewuity because its in one of the hottest housing markets in the world. Then if they wanted to buy me out, i'd possibly consider it. But then im balancing "charging my sister more" vs "quicker money but she gets all the future appreciation". With half the value if my folks' place i could probably buy a home bigger than that where i live. --- #BladeGang ... Copied to Clipboard!

If the will is clear it shouldn't be too bad. It's not the limitations of the will but of herself. If she could just say in no uncertain terms what she wanted to do and let that be the end of it, it wouldn't be a problem. She simply can't do that because of a bunch of hangups and the complexity of navigating the feelings of a huge family with everyone having wildly different perceptions of who deserves what and, more importantly to most, who doesn't deserve what. It's a no-win situation, she just can't accept it. --- Spongebob is not a contraceptive. ... Copied to Clipboard!
