Well, I find this hard to believe because conservatives keep telling it's black people that are the largest group of uncaccinated people.

As much as I appreciate what they are trying to do, there's no way you can take this poll as fact

as one does not have to disclose ethnicity when getting the vaccine, what other methods should we use

I mean this is standard polling methodology.

The NBC News poll was conducted Aug. 14-17 among 1,000 adults 600 of whom are cellphone-only respondents and the overall margin of error in the poll is plus-minus 3.1 percentage points.
Of the 790 registered voters the poll measured, the margin of error is plus-minus 3.5 percentage points.

Right... who are you talking about?
The poll NBC links to says...

NBC News Survey Interviews: 1000 Adults, including 600 respondents with a cell phone only.

1,000 Telephone surveys sounds like a mighty small sample size. I mean, dont get me wrong. This is a interesting little survey to discuss. But nobody should take the results too seriously.

Not every person, but you need to cast a wide net. A thousand people aint that wide of a net.

EDIT - and yeah, some polls should be thrown out. Just ask President Hilary Clinton.

Perhaps this might enlighten you

How can a poll of only 1,004 Americans represent 260 million people with only a 3 percent margin of error?

She lost well within the margin of error. Only anti-poll weirdos assert that polls are infallible. The world would be chaos if statistics were merely guess work. Everyone wants to be such a fucking snowflake that they think it's cool for us to throw out all science because they created a narrative where everyone trusts it like a god except themselves.
