I worked at Apple for about a year, and it is crazy to me when I see people defend it because I can promise you that Apple sure as shit doesn't care about you. Apple's greatest accomplishment is honestly how they are able shit in everyone's mouth and those same people will thank them for it.

idk many people that defend apples business practices, just they are rarely the founding point of people trying to cause phone wars drama and when they are they're usually coming from people who are defending equally terrible companies

Some of their products are overpriced, particularly in their Mac lineup. That equates to people hating the entire brand for some reason. They are just as much of a sheep as the people they claim are sheep for buying a phone

I don't hate apple, I even have an old iPad Mini 2 that I still use to this day. That said, there's nothing about their phones that makes me want to justify their pricetags anymore.

yeah that $5000 XDR screen or whatever is hilarious, but i think they price it that way because they know the average consumer isn't gonna buy it. Just like I didn't buy that magic keyboard and instead bought a $50 case off amazon that basically turns my ipad into a laptop and swivels
