The individual cases are all excellent, all of the characters are great, and every case is tightly interlinked. I really can't say anything bad about it.

I didn't like it at all, all the new characters besides that judge are so bad (and she's the only good new character because she's hot), the main villain is just a lame version of Matt Engarde and the cases were boring as fuck. The only case I somewhat enjoyed was the third case, the one where they went back in time.

Shields and Sebastian are great characters, But Blaise and Justine just annoy me.

AAI2 being one of if not the best game in the series is an incredibly common opinion to people who've played both. Obviously saying why would have spoilers but it's just much better written with much crazier twists and treats legacy characters very well. You really should try out the fan translation. It's not hard to get at all.

The only cases in Investigations 2 I really like are the second and third one. My dislike of the central characters make me completely disengage from the plot revolving around them that fills the 4th and 5th case. Also there's more Lotta Hart in those cases than I can handle. In the whole game in general.

I certainly really enjoyed the game, along with AAI1.

I quite like the gameplay mechanics, particularly Little Thief, Logic, and Logic Chess (I think it was called that).

I also liked how the first case was substantial, and the linkage of the cases is nice.

I have it tied with AA3 at the top of my list. I think AA3 just knocks the emotional impact out of the park as far as wrapping up an entire trilogy in a really satisfying way, while AAI2 is just wall to wall top tier cases with a fantastic twist at the end.
