So in Mario 64 theres this mission where you have to help a snowman's head get its body back. Anyways, he gives this throwaway joke "Do you know any headhunters?"

Being a kid and not knowing what a headhunter was irl, I assumed he was talking about the enemy floating around the snowball you have to retrieve.

Tl:dr, Ive been calling these little buggers "headhunters" when they're actually called "spindrifts" or something? Idk

Believe it or not, I actually knew what a chain chomp's name really was before I played Link's Awakening. I just really liked Bow Wow

I always read the instruction manual first, so if it was in there I knew the name. If it wasn't, I would make up a name or one of my brothers would.
