My mom is on blood thinners and easily bleeds and whatnot. Any tricks I can use to stop the bleeding better other than putting pressure on it?

I am not a doctor, but have you considered lowering the dosage of the blood thinner

You better take your mom to the ER if its an emergency. What blood thinner is it?

the only way is to put pressure.

the only suggestion is to find and prevent ways where your mom puts herself at risk of getting injured and bleeding.

I suggest consulting with the doctor if she bleeds too often. They will outweigh the risks and benefits for changing or keeping the dosage. After all, its job is prevent blood clots.

If they do decide to keep it as is, consider long sleeves and pants. We actually provide our residents with protective sleeves if their skin is just too fragile.

K that's fine. Pressure is probably the only thing that can be done anyway
