I used to have like an hour to hour and a half commute back home. And that was pretty normal. And tame. Lots of people would drive from out of state to work in New York. It was crazy. I also almost started working for a place which would have been 1.5-2 hours commute. But didnt. Which was fine since I ended up back at my old job sort of

Yeah. Thats probably the only thing that makes the drive bearable for me. I have some podcast I just love.

You get used to anything after you go through a mental break, cry, and resign yourself. Happened to me as a truck driver years ago during the first few months. I went from loving the job to wanting to quit for sure many times days in a row. Eventually you just give up and keep on trucking and the pain goes away. Time goes faster and you settle into it.

I was trying to get back on the road during the pandemic when I started having health issues and failed my medical examiner's test.
