I was using him one night when we were playing several months back, but I suck with him. I cannot land wafts for shit (no pun intended). and this was before he was nerfed. to add on to this, it's very difficult to practice wario in training mode because you can't just keep practicing waft over and over again. you have to wait for waft to build up first. so you can only practice at once every 2 minutes. --- pojr I summon it. This is a damn good point, and the only solution I see is spawning food or special flags to eat to charge waft faster. --- (... pojr 09/19/21 1:05:09 PM #463:	a long time ago, wumbo told me that he uses the tilt stick for all air attacks (forward air, up air, etc). i find that interesting and...impossible. it takes extra time to use the tilt stick than just using A + direction. I only use the tilt stick when I absolutely have to (when I'm on the ground and I don't want to buffer a smash attack on accident). what do you guys do for that? --- pojr I summon it. I still trying to get used to playing offline since I was missing quiet a bit of conversions, in particular I lost a match because I dropped jab to downsmash by the ledge lmao. Inkling is still my best offline character since R1 I had to face a local player who is pretty damn good and managed to keep it pretty close despite losing a stock at 20% with a very nice lead to a pineapple and losing last game in a last hit last stock scenario because I ran out of ink and didn't notice and I got smacked out of jab lmao. But still the best part is just getting to see the crew together and seeing how far it has grown. I might share a photo we took that's going public anyways tomorrow since I'm proud of how strong it has become from what it originally started as. Also playing friendlies offline was nice, I was getting more used to playing offline since I started hitting things I can get online constantly. Also made my friend hate the Lucario and Robin, his secondary, matchup lmao. Also pojr I got to see Wumbo in person again, he doesn't stream anymore but he told me to tell you hi. --- Aut viam inveniam aut faciam. This is some good intel. Using the c stick for the air moves it doesn't seem all that beneficial for yoshi, at least not in comparison to how I have it right now. But there are some situations where it might be nice. For example, I noticed some Yoshi players will try to two frame with Yoshi's Forward Air. With my current control setup, I don't see how people pull that off so well, because I always have to move slightly forward in order to pull off the Forward Air (otherwise I just nair). That's really cool to see. Glad you're still going to tournaments. I'm not surprised but also sort of surprised at the same time that inkling is your best offline character. Because I don't see your inkling in our arenas as much as your other characters. But I know online and offline are different things (I have yet to experience a true offline competitive game). It's cool that you met with Wumbo. I actually didn't realize he didn't stream anymore. I hadn't watched him in a very long time, nothing against Wumbo himself, I just wasn't a fan of some of his community.
