It's a seperate tiny server for yourself and your family.

Host most of your bulk storage of data over there.

Only store what you absoutely need locally on your LapTop.

NAS' don't have to be powerful, just good enough to get the job done.

How bad is your RSI?

Have you tried using a track ball instead of a right angle mouse?

It's not terrible for the most part; however, I absolutely cannot play shooters or menu-heavy games with a regular mouse.
