I have too much of it.

Example -

I'm at the counter to buy something and the cashier starts to talk to me about their day. Asking me how mine is, just being friendly. That's great, right? Well there is 3 people behind me who want to get their shit done and go, but the cashier is taking up time being nice to me, which is their job. I want the cashier to hurry up, not to improve my day, but the people behind me. And I understand that feeling the cashier is going though, they see the people pilling up and wants to move on, but they can't rush me, the customer.

So what if I wanted to chit chat? The cashier is forced to be friendly and have customer services, what if I didn't have any empathy and started to tell the cashier about all the stuff I'm buying? Customers do this a lot. "I'm buying this shovel because it's so much better than the 874. I used to have a 745, but it got used up too much. And. . ."

I pretty much always do things to make things better for the people around me, even strangers in a store because I empathize how I would feel if I were them, and try to make them not feel that way.

I don't think you can have too much. It is not something like that where you can have more than someone else tbh. You either have it or you don't.
