I don't live in a residential neighborhood. The apartment building I live in is situated in the downtown business area.

As for all my neighbors, they're elderly and infirm, so they're no threat to anyone.

Depends it's generally safe but we have a few shootings every year, someone got shot and killed beside my back yard earlier this year.

By Coincidence the victim had the same name as me.

ya. but I do have a problem with people stealing shit. I got my mower and gas can out and forgot something in the house and came back to no gas can. was gone less than 5 mins...

just got petty shit like that. my neighbors are constantly fighting amongst themselves and have the cops over alot.

It's not the roughest place I've ever lived by some margin, but it is a bit rougher than my last place.

Over the past several weeks we had a group of kids doing armed carjackings around my neighborhood. Last week two of the four of them were caught, two got away from the cops

Seems relatively safe. Havent been assaulted yet, no one ever steals my packages left on the front door for hours, neighbors seem friendly enough for small talk

My only gripe is that some ppl smoke weed in their cars and i can smell it when i walk my dog. I also seen some condoms behind a bush that my dog pees on so ppl be fucking in that area wtf.

My current neighborhood is relatively nice. I'm used to living in places where I have to worry about being shot. While that could still happen, the chance of it is dramatically lower. Like I could roam around at 3am without any issue most likely

Safe, but not crime free, as from time to time there will be story of a car chase or arrest gone wrong, as I live in a neighborhood that's right off one of the major highways on Long Island.

Live in Houston and crime is rampant and we didnt defund the police they all got raises yet crime still super bad

Yes, 75 percent

Its mostly Ok. Im not too worried when Im outside and I even walk to the nearest stores, but there is still some theft. My car and home were broken into once each. No violence yet, thankfully.

It's pretty safe. I've been here since November

I live across the street from some rented duplexes and there was an issue with some neighbors but when the eviction freeze ended last January they were gone. Been great since.

my mother bought my grandmother a home in a neighborhood like this - all elderly people

but then most of the elderly people passed away over time, and their kids inherited the homes, and the kids of the new homeowners have since made the neighborhood into a high-crime area

Eh neither. I live in a very dense neighborhood right outside of downtown. There definitely are rougher corners of the neighborhood (including the block directly across from the police station ironically), but having two major tourist traps in walking distance from me means it's usually busy enough to not be too worried. Most realistic issue are car break ins, but i don't have a car so doesn't affect me

I live in the suburbs with a cop on my block, so its pretty safe.

At least until Joe Biden carpet bombs the suburbs.

For a living in a notorious "violent" city, it is very safe in my neighborhood.

Albuquerque, lots of petty crime, particularly cars getting broken in to. I've had several windows broken. It's more annoying than intimidating. Nice town though.
